I'm Lina (she/her), a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Psychotherapist in advanced psychotherapy training.

I offer a space where difficult experiences can be spoken about openly, without judgement, pressure, or the need to know exactly where to begin.

My interest in this work is shaped by both professional training and life experience. I have experienced significant life changes, periods of uncertainty, and the challenges that can come with starting again. I have also navigated parenthood and life transitions that required me to re-evaluate who I was, what mattered to me, and how to remain connected to my own values and authenticity during times of change.

My own experiences have included navigating significant adversity during childhood and the long process of rebuilding confidence, resilience, and finding my own ways to move forward. Personal therapy has been an important part of that journey and has given me first-hand experience of what it can be like to sit in the client's chair.

These experiences do not give me answers about your life. What they have given me is a deep respect for the complexity of people's stories, the different ways people adapt to adversity, and the courage it takes to ask for support.

My approach is relational, developmental, and trauma-informed. I believe people make sense within the context of their experiences, relationships, and the environments they have been part of.

I am mindful that culture, family, social expectations, identity, language, power, and belonging can all influence how we experience ourselves and others. These aspects of life are welcome in the therapy room and can become part of our work together where relevant.

People come to therapy for many different reasons, including relationship difficulties, anxiety, low self-worth, life transitions, identity and belonging concerns, emotional overwhelm, and feeling stuck despite efforts to move forward.

Alongside private practice, I have worked in a range of therapeutic settings, supporting people with both short-term and longer-term difficulties. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loss, trauma, identity concerns, workplace challenges, and the impact of difficult life experiences.

My training is grounded in Transactional Analysis and informed by relational, developmental, and trauma-informed perspectives.
